So nothing new but, I've been struggling with art (and life but w/e)
I feel as if I was in this weird space of taking art too seriously but not seriously enough.
My goals were not in match with uh.."good" values, so I want shift those values as well.
I think it's time to take smarter, more honest approach with my art journey..
I've been learning a lot about how to think about art and approach practicing and cultivating your skills.
I want to directly face what I'm struggling with , copy, use references, all of that and truly develop my skills.
I think self-discipline and commitment are both really important.
If you cannot commit yourself to doing something, you won't really gain anything. Also you cannot fully commit if you don't have any self-discipline.
So I'm trying to hone those into my work ethic with art (and life as well).
I'm still thinking on how I want to put these ideas into action,
At the very least I have one goal to finish/refine my sketches from the past weeks
so I can commit myself to a new art piece that I can give my full attention and efforts.
So..that's all. p:
Believing in yourself is also important, so I'm trying to do that more !
Please do as well !
